Enrollment and Fees

Spring 2010 fees:

• Muskarilaiset (Untuvikot ja Mukelot): $50
• Others: $90

You will get a 50% discount for third child.

New families pay $10 enrollment fee, regardless of the number of children.

Fees will be collected on first and second school day.

Fees will not be returned if student drops off. If you enroll for just half a semester, you only pay half.

Absences should be reported to the teacher. The student will loose his/her slot if absent more than 3 times without notice.

You need to fill out liability form and return it to the secretary during enrollment for each child. You will only need to do this for new students, or if the information has changed.

Class Dates

Suomikoulu meets at the Nokia Office, located at Building B, 313 Fairchild Dr. Mountain View, CA 94043, every other Sunday 3 pm to 5 pm (depending on group).

All adults will need a picture ID to enter the Nokia building.

• May 2., 16. (Spring party)

• Murmelot (muskariryhmä 0-3 years), teacher Sari Luoma, 3-3:45 pm
• Piiperot (3-4 years), teacher Sari Korju, 3-4:30 pm
• Paaperot (4-5 years), teacher Nina Elvo, 3-4:30 pm
• Eskarit (5-6 years), teacher Anu Valtanen, 3-4:30 pm
• Lukutoukat (6-7 years), teacher Kirsi Farin, 3-4:30 pm
• Sanataiturit (7-8 years), teacher Leena Koivuniemi, 3-4:30 pm

Library

The library will be open 4:15-5 pm, in the parking lot (weather permitting).

When enrolling your child to the school, please remember that parents volunteer work is needed in the School. Every family will have their turn in cleaning and classroom help lists.
